Pastor Mark Vereen is a native of New Haven, Connecticut.  He was reared by his parents in the fear and admonition of the Lord.  Through his parents teachings, he was instilled with morals, character and integrity which produced a life that positively impacts the Body of Christ.

At the tender age of 12, Pastor Vereen accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost shortly thereafter.

In January of 2003 the Lord commissioned Pastor Vereen to begin an Intercessory Prayer ministry in Richmond, VA.   Pastor Vereen and his wife traveled from New Haven, CT to Richmond, VA one Saturday a month to intercede for the Body of Christ.  The ministry started with only Pastor Vereen, Elect Lady Monique Vereen and their daughter.  Shortly thereafter the ministry began to flourish.  Souls were being delivered and set free under the awesome power of God.

On January 4, 2004, Pastor Vereen officially established Center of Hope Life Changing Church (home of Hope Christian Ministries) in Richmond, Virginia.  He continues to walk in the five fold ministry under the mighty hand of God.
